The limit value switch monitors the dynamic and/or static limit value for foam. Universally usable, allows for reliable detection, combined with easy commissioning. A reliable measurement of all products is guaranteed by applying the impedance measuring principle.

The guaranteed foam detection of products with varying consistencies, electrical and dielelectrical conductivity is achieved by the dynamic three-dimensional measurement behaviour. The limit value output controls the cost-conscious use of the foam precipitating agent closes the pressure valve or interrupts the vacuum, etc.

Measuring system

The MLS tlimit value switch can be used for foam detection, fluids or powder level measuring. The first and second measurement circuits are equipped with the same functionality. The evaluation electronics not only serves as a feed unit in the 2-wire technology, it also houses the data processing intelligence.

  • For insulated lines with extension for detached connection head and/or with a cooling element for product temperatures of up to 170° C

Limit value probes for organic and aqueous foams

Our impedance measuring principle and the high-resolution MTI measuring electronics can record all types of foam both analog, as a fill level tendency or digitally, as a limit value. A wide range of probes allows for all types of installation. The spatial measurement behaviour of the foam probes makes it easy to detect foams. Thanks to the product-specific probe, combined with the dynamic limit value detection, various types of foams can even be determined if the probe is contaminated. The mipromex MLS evaluation unit is equipped with a graphic display for visualising the foam level and setting the limit value.
